A NotiTrac guide for Fitbit Air and iPhone
Can I stop my Fitbit Air buzzing at night?
Yes. The Air itself only buzzes at night for an alarm, so if it's buzzing for alerts that is NotiTrac, and NotiTrac has quiet hours for exactly this.
Quiet hours
In NotiTrac, open Alerts and turn on Quiet hours, then set the window. Inside it, notifications don't buzz the Air. Calls follow the same switch, so if you want calls through at night, leave quiet hours off and rely on the Phone app's own Focus settings to decide who can ring you.
Spacing between buzzes
Also under Alerts. The minimum gap means a chatty app can only reach your wrist so often; messages inside the gap are folded into the next buzz. Calls always buzz regardless.
Use iPhone Focus too
NotiTrac only buzzes for notifications that actually arrive. A Sleep Focus on the iPhone that silences an app silences it on the wrist as well, which is the simplest night setting of all.
And the alarm
The Air's own alarm lives in Google Health and keeps working whatever NotiTrac is doing. If something buzzes you awake early, check there first.
