Privacy policy · Updated 11 October 2026

Privacy, in plain sight.

NotiTrac reads your Fitbit Air's figures and buzzes it for the alerts you choose. Everything stays on your iPhone. This page says exactly what it reads and why.

Who makes NotiTrac

An independent developer. NotiTrac has no accounts and collects nothing: what it reads stays on your iPhone.

What NotiTrac reads

From Apple Health, the figures the Google Health app writes there for your Fitbit Air: steps, distance, energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, blood oxygen, VO₂ max and sleep. It also reads the names of the apps and devices that wrote them, so that only your tracker's figures are shown. NotiTrac only reads; it never writes to Apple Health.

What else it uses

Bluetooth, to buzz your Air; it remembers your Air's name and the identifier your iPhone gives it. Whether a call is ringing, never who is calling. From Shortcuts, only that a notification arrived and the app label you typed into the automation, never the notification's text or sender. NotiTrac has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or location.

Where it is kept

On your iPhone and nowhere else. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. Your health figures are kept out of iCloud and computer backups. Your settings, the list of recent alerts (times and app labels only) and a short technical record of recent buzzes are included in your iPhone's own backups, as other apps' settings are.

Purchases

NotiTrac Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; NotiTrac only learns whether Pro is unlocked.

What it is used for

Showing you your figures and telling your Fitbit Air when to buzz. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never given to data brokers.

Your choices

Change what NotiTrac may read in the Health app: tap your picture, then Apps, then NotiTrac. Deleting NotiTrac removes everything it holds on your iPhone. A copy inside an earlier backup of your iPhone stays until that backup is replaced.

This website

notitrac.com has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising and no analytics scripts, and it sets no cookies. The site is hosted by Netlify, whose servers keep ordinary access logs (the address your request came from, the page requested and the time) for a short period to run and protect the service. If you email us, we keep your message for as long as it takes to answer it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here and in the app with its date.
